Short-Term Rentals
The Big Sky Fire Department (BSFD) actively conducts Fire & Life Safety Inspections for Short-Term Rentals (STRs) located within the district boundaries. These inspections are conducted to identify, educate property owners, and mitigate the most common fire and life safety risks associated with these types of occupancies. BSFD works closely with both the Gallatin County Health Department and the Madison County Sanitarian Office to ensure all licensing and permit requirements have been obtained and are current.
